Videre Estate Engagement Session
It was hot August morning. I met up with Frankie & Luke at the exact location where we will all be together again in Spring 2024 for them to tie the knot, to photograph this season of their lives -- their engagement!
Videre Estate located in Wimberly, TX is a newer wedding venue with elegant details and sweeping hill country views. It is the perfect backdrop for wedding photos, and for Frankie and Luke, their engagement photo session too! What a special memory to have captured, as next time we're taking photos there together, it will be for wedding day!
We met at sunrise and even then, it was a hot day. My camera and lenses actually were on their own timeline and needed a few minutes before defogging and getting accustomed to the Texas summer heat. However we wasted no time and got right into teaching and practicing some photography poses to make the most of our time and create these beautiful engagement images.
Frankie and Luke had the opportunity to do their tasting on the same weekend as this session and I think it made the wedding planning weekend even more special. Frankie's just like me. Super busy year round (currently making her way through PT school) that they are taking care of wedding plans pretty ahead of schedule, just like us. Hey, say what you want to about us Type A brides, but I know my extended wedding planning is keeping my stress low and helping me to enjoy the process more and I feel like Frankie's probably the same. Luke is a super down to Earth and easy-going guy, the two are a perfect match!
Ultimately, we had so much fun playing with some of the locations we will plan to use again on wedding day, talking about upcoming plans, and going to visit the Videre's longhorns to top off our morning.
I am so excited to capture their big day in 2024 and return to the Videre Estate once again!
