A Backyard Georgetown Texas Wedding
Simin & Fasbir were married on a hot, but beautiful July day in Georgetown, Texas and I was there to capture the event.
In a small intimate backyard wedding ceremony, you could feel the love between the two and among their guests there to support them.
The day began getting ready at Sheraton Austin Georgetown Hotel & Conference Center, where Simin had a calm morning getting ready with her closest girlfriends. To say her hair and make up team executed, would, I think, be an understatement. I mean her photos are incredible and her look kept up in the Texas summer heat the ENTIRE day! I know I was impressed.
After getting ready, it was time for Simin and Fasbir's first look, which was quick, but super sweet, with a great reaction by Fasbir (see below).
Right next to the hotel is a park, which provided the most perfect backdrop for bride and groom portraits, very important for Simin, as she previously explained to me that they did not do engagement photos.
Following their portraits, we headed to their house for an intimate backyard ceremony. And while the sky and forecast threatening rain (for probably the only time this whole summer) it held off!
After the ceremony the couple took photos with guests, then everyone headed in to the air conditioning.
Simin changed into a more traditional American wedding gown and the couple and I were able to sneak off for some EPIC sunset wedding portraits. I mean this location is on the side of the road and supposedly people travel locally each night for this view, which makes complete sense, because just LOOK at those portraits... amazing!
It was such an honor to capture this day for Simin (who yes, literally is SO good at posing) and Fasbir, who was in awe at his beautiful bride. I can't imagine more gorgeous details to photograph all day long.
