An Addison Grove Fall Wedding

Groom kissing bride's cheek at the Addison Groove Austin Texas

It was a toasty, first day of October but the Addison Grove in Austin Texas provides the most beautiful speckled light through it's grand trees at the ceremony space for photos, which also provided some serious reprieve from the Texas sun.

I've seen enough wedding venues to look at a space and realize at times the ceremony spot is going to be really bright for photos, or one of the sides is going to be squinting.

Well the Addison Grove knew what they were doing when setting up this venue. While the ceremony space is only in the beaming sunlight in the morning, making sure seats set up are not baking all day, the sun quickly goes behind the trees later in the day before the ceremony would start. During the ceremony this provides beautiful, crisp, clean light and the pathway is a perfect natural reflector making for the best skin tones to come up in your wedding photos.

Following the ceremony, the sun continues to show off by going down but through the trees, instead of behind it, providing speckled light perfectly in your wedding photos, rather than disappearing and making a dark background later in the evening.

As a wedding photographer, this lighting scenario at the Addison Grove absolutely makes this venue! It provides gorgeous light when some of the most important pictures of the day happen and you can't ask for much more than that.

But aside from the light, the bridal suite also have beautiful light and amenities making for photo worthy elements all around.

For the cocktail area, there's an al fresco-vibe patio and then into the elegant rustic barn for the reception, allowing for beautiful portraits and fun shots, throughout your wedding day.

If you're an Austin Texas bride who care highly of her wedding day photos, consider the Addison Grove. This sweet couple did and just look at the results.

And if you're in the market for a wedding photographer that is organized and will find you the best light where ever you are, hit me up! I'd love to chat!

Cheers!

xoxo Alex
