A French-Inspired Romantic Wedding Day
Through most of 2024, prior to becoming a Central Florida Wedding Photographer, I served Austin, Texas weddings. March 23, 2024 was a comfortable, bright day in Austin. Teagan and Ross started their day in the Loren Hotel getting ready with family and friends with an opulent breakfast overlooking the Austin Texas skyline.
In starting with capturing their wedding day details, as I begin most wedding days as a wedding photographer, hints of a French influence to their day was quickly evident.
Teagan and Ross opted for an intimate first look in one of the common areas of the trendy hotel. As an Orlando wedding photographer, I’m eager to explore the many unique resorts and hotels that the Central Florida area has to offer for weddings and for wedding guests to stay at.
Immediately following the first look, the couple ran through a one-last-time practice of their first dance. They took dance lessons for the occasion, so a last minute rehearsal made sense for them to utilize this intimate moment for.
Following their first look with each other, the couple made their way downstairs to the hotel lobby and met up with their bridal party. It was time to cross the street to a famous pedestrian bridge and capture bridal party portraits with the iconic city’s skyline as the backdrop. Being in Orlando only a few months now, I’ve already noted a great skyline spot to use as an Orlando wedding photographer, if that’s also your vibe. With lots of attention from the public throughout photos, the bridal party was then pumped up and ready to head to the venue. While the bride and groom stayed back with me to complete some of their bride and groom portraits, the bridal party gathered everything needed and began loading the sprinter vans to the venue.
The venue for the wedding and reception was an Austin area staple, known as Lady Bird Wild Flower Center. In central Texas, during the spring months, the area is known for their colorful, fully bloomed wildflowers, including the Texas state flower of the blue bonnet. This venue highlights the wildflowers of the area. In Orlando, I love the unique aspect that the area has of Spanish moss everywhere that can bring a dreaminess and uniqueness to Orlando wedding photography.
With a stunning backdrop, the ceremony went off without a hitch and couple exited their ceremony with a fun and picturesque bubble exit!
Cocktail hour was set in a stunning garden area, which many guests’ fashion-forward attire also contributed to the decor of the space making for a picture-perfect element to the wedding day.
Following cocktail hour and a few more bride a groom portraits, it was time for Teagan and Ross’s grand entrance into their reception space and perform that first dance they worked so hard on! With a nod to the French-inspiration, they danced to a French instrumental piece, complete with impressive lifts and beautifully choreographed elements to seal their first dance as husband and wife.
